Amongst other infection control strategies she has had both Covid vaccinations on 12.1.21 and 30.3.21 and lateral flow tests weekly to help stop the spread.

She is experienced in rehabbing clients with many co-morbidities such as atrial fibrillation, hypertension, postural hypotension, arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes, COPD and many more. She is experienced in using mobility aids such as hoists, Sara steadies, rollator frames, gutter frames, quad sticks, Fischer and walking sticks. So whether it's getting you back on your feet after a fall or surgery, or helping you regain your mobility and hence your independence then elderly physio can help you.

Nursing an Elderly

As we age we naturally have slower cell turnover. Our bone density reduces, our muscle strength reduces (by as much as 3% per year) and our response times slow. The greatest risk factors for falls are previous falls, strength, gait and balance impairments so our natural aging process can lead to an increased risk of falls, a reduction in mobility and as a result, a loss of independence. Elderly physio can help reverse declines, reduce the likelihood of falls, improve your mobility and help you regain your independence.

As a part of your elderly physio experience, you will be assessed to see where we can help. This will include taking your past medical history, identifying what you would like to achieve and then we will physically assess you to look at your joint ranges of movement, muscle strengths, balance and mobility/walking. As a part of your elderly physio experience you will receive advice and exercises tailored to your needs and requirements and this, over time, will be progressed to achieve your goals as originally identified.

We provide elderly physio visits to your home, retirement, care and nursing homes in the following areas: SW1-20, W1,2,4,6,8&14.
